I’m so happy we got to spend one last afternoon with my Laemmlen family. Tante Marie will be 92 on March 15th. She’s doing quite well. We all enjoyed eating our bakery treats and visiting, as we tried to put off the farewells.
It was really hard. As Marie gave me a hug, she said to me, “I will not see you again.” We both were teary. Her mind is quite clear. I kissed her soft cheek and did not want to stop hugging her. Also sad farewells to Elly, Martin and Jutta with lots of hugs and tears.
