From Ghent we drove to Breda, where we spent the rest of the day with our National Communication Directors fr0m Belgium and the Netherlands. It was great to be together and great to learn from each other as we discussed the needs of our church members in these areas.
Breda has a new church, built in this last year. There were lots of women there finishing up a big Relief Society event. We helped set up for our meeting as our friends arrived.
David Geens helped with some training on using Social Media, a fellow from den Bos presented ideas about the Interfaith work he’s doing in his community. There were 2 other Stake Communication specialists and us. It was a small group, representing 2 countries and 2 languages. We also had an Area 70, Elder Joep Boom, who came for the last part of the meeting and he gave us some good counsel. It was a great meeting that ended with a pizza delivery.
